Growing Lonardo’s Greenhouse and Fresh Produce market has been a family affair for more than 60 years. Currently owned and operated by husband and wife, Frank and Donna Lonardo, the business began in 1946 as Lonardo and Sons Greenhouse. As Frank proudly worked beside his father Art, a lifelong farmer, Art worked alongside his father, Vito with brothers Mike and Howard.
The lifetime of experience and dedication is a bonus to any shopper at Lonardo’s Greenhouse and Fresh Produce market. Springtime is filled with beautiful flowering plants and starter plants for everyone’s home vegetable garden. Specialty items like the Laparie Pepper plants are only found at Lonardo’s. Everything is grown and nurtured within the Lonardo Greenhouse.
From April through December, the produce market is filled with fresh, hand-picked, home, and local grown fruits and vegetables bursting with color and value. Lonardo’s pricing has been a consistent value for the community. The farmers’ market atmosphere has convenient parking and there’s always someone on hand to help you to your car.
As a third generation grower and produce farmer, Frank Lonardo extends his genuine appreciation to all the kind and loyal Lonardo customers. “It’s a pleasure to see our hard work meet the needs and satisfaction of valued friends and customers in the community.”
